HSS & UHSS Stamping Lubricants

IRMCO offers high-performance, oil-free HSS & UHSS stamping lubricants.

High-strength, & ultra-high-strength steels, HSS & UHSS, are omnipresent in automotive light-weighting applications. Their tensile strengths & work-hardening characteristics push the limits of lubrication to address the ever-increasing tensile strengths of newer generation steels & micro alloys. These steels offer increased protection for passengers in vehicles, while helping reduce overall vehicle weight & are still the most cost-effective metal substrates for OEM structural & frame components.

IRMCO provides high-performance, oil-free stamping lubricants for stamping these steels. Whether you’re stamping 500MPa or 1GPa steels – IRMCO has a product for you. Our oil-free, fully synthetic stamping fluids offer excellent weld-through characteristics, excellent corrosion protection & are easily removed in conventional & newer, low-temperature & low pH surface pretreatment processes.
