test – new environmental page

Environmental sustainability has been at the core of IRMCO’s business model since the early 1980’s. We help eliminate mineral oil-based chemistries and products with chlorinated paraffin. Our focus on oil-free, water-based lubricants, was risky back then but benefited the environment and, eventually, our customers’ bottom lines.

Over the decades, IRMCO has actively developed chemistries and business partnerships to help refine and improve metal-stamping and tube-bending efficiencies through MQL (minimum quantity lubrication) practices – reducing chemical waste and the need for disposal and or waste treatment. IRMCO FLUIDS lubricants are easier to weld-through and remove in subsequent cleaning processes, helping reduce carbon and other emissions.
